Ira Pickering has over 20 years of professional engineering, commissioning (Cx), construction administration, and project management experience. As a Professional Engineer, Ira leads Chinook’s engineering team to design strategic HVAC, electrical, and controls systems upgrades, repairs, and replacements. Ira and his team also support the design of retro-commissioning (RCx) corrective measures, perform plan reviews for code compliance, and develop accurate as-built record documents. With national experience, Ira possesses a thorough understanding of various local codes, standards, and policies, which he applies to the design, Cx, and RCx processes, especially those related to pressurization, airflow, and occupant safety.
